Friday evening local derby

For a change, we played a match against local rival Majorna on a Friday February 28th. Our squad consisted of Erik (S), Bobby (OP), Ross (OP), André (MI), Henrik (MI), Chao (MI), Adam (OH), Aleksejs (OH), Jacob (OH), Dennis (L).

Again our setter Erik was voted MVP and reflected on the match:

"Rematch against Majorna VBK B, a young team with good potential. We suffered an unfortunate start with our opposite Ross attaining a finger injury during the very first point in the very first set. With him in our minds and hearts, we rather convincingly took the first two sets despite some sloppiness in terms of defense. Set three had Ross, indestructible as he is, come back to finish the job and we completed our evening with a 3-0 win and an additional three points in the bag. Overall, the team played well and I'm happy to see us maintain the higher level of quality in our game-play that we somehow obtained during the Christmas break. Go GOTHIA!"

Indeed a bit of a wave we are riding and hopefully can continue next weekend in Trollhättan.
