Stockholm conquered!

Our season has ended and what a way to end it!

The trip was superb, they had a ton of fun in the minibus and when arriving at our layover just outside Enköping, the lads had some time to spend with the Vänersborg youngsters. But as it was late when we arrived, it was short lived before dreamland was next on schedule. 

Up early in the morning and a quick breakfast and of to Stockholm!

We got word that instead of playing with Vänersborg, they supported Stockholm Exiles who only had 4 players. But they were optimistic and really were looking forth to play with them. And my oh my, the lads literally conquered Stockholm by performing absolutely amazing together with the Exile lads.

3 games were scheduled to be played, they had 0 subs and they fought on to win all 3 games. 

Our team and Exiles had similar playstyle and they quickly bonded and formed an unstoppable team, some truly amazing rugby was on display.

They got a lot of praise on their performance and skill afterwards. 

And the lads really deserve the credit!

Really a proud moment to be a coach.

The journey home was a bit more quiet one as I think most of them slept through the ride.

All in all this was a really amazing trip.

And we're definitely looking into doing more of these kinds of trips! The northern teams started brewing their own plans to come over to the westcoast for similar display next year.

Also extra credit for Gary who joined in and drove the minibus and looked after the U12's, while I had an extra focus on the U14 lads.

With that said.
