Information regarding the B18 National team and selection

Hi,

My name is Oriol Ripol, I work as Head of Performance at the SRF. Part of my job is to create a long-term Player Pathway for Swedish rugby and create an organic growth of an elite through a sustainable educational platform, where we can stimulate, develop, and maintain youth and senior rugby in Sweden for future international success. See attached the presentation presented at the Föreningskonferens.

I write to you to introduce and communicate SRF’s Player Development Programme, which will start with an open camp of physical testing on the 11th of February in Stockholm and follow up with the 17th of February in Gothenburg. See attached more information about it.

What is the PDP?
The PDP is SRF’s youth elite pathway development programme aimed at developing youth as an athlete and a rugby player, to maximize time in the game and achieve international representation.

Who is the PDP for?
Any player from U18 to 23 years of age who is currently in the national team system or who puts themselves forward with the aspiration to be selected into the national team.

REGISTRATION IS OPEN UNTIL 11TH OF January 2024

How to register to the testing open camp?
