Post season friendly against Exiles

In a dazzling display of end-of-the-season rugby, the clash between Uppsala's Plebs and Stockholm Exiles unfolded. From the outset, it was evident that this match would be defined by its scrappiness, something which did not improve by the lack of a formal referee. Rucks became battlegrounds, with players from both teams fiercely contesting possession.
The game kicked off excitedly as Uppsala, after an early slip-up, managed to catch the Exiles off guard. The Plebs backs launched a full-scale offensive, with Siôn Kinson managing to zigzag his way through the Exiles' defence from the centre, delivering a jaw-dropping try. Not content with just five points, Kinson made his own conversion, earning him roars of approval from his team-mates. However, Uppsala's joy was short-lived as they found themselves struggling to tackle effectively. A series of unfortunate, critical, mistakes soon followed allowing Exiles to capitalize and soar ahead. An exact recollection of the events that followed is yet to be agreed upon, yet most Plebs testify to Victor gifting the opposition the ball on his own try line, and Serwan, attempting to take a mark after a kick-off – both leaving their teammates scratching their heads. Amidst the chaos however, both Victor and Serwan, bounced back with strong try-saving tackles and as the dust settled, the Plebs could hold their heads high knowing they had fought bravely.
Despite the result, unfortunately culminating in a 37-7 loss to the Exiles, there were plenty of positives to take away, with players like Emil, Diego and Jack, all earning their first caps for the team. Having gotten a loss out of their system the men’s team look ahead to greener, and colder, pastures up north as preparations continue for the upcoming tour to Umeå. Full steam ahead!
