🕺Men A played Habo C last weekend!!🕺

After beating Habo B 3-1 at their home court, Habo C travelled to Gothenburg to revenge on their B-team. We were ready to show what we are made of, having had a practice match against the Gothia B team (Thanks guys 👊🏻!!)

Set 1 started strong by scoring out-of-system attacks on all positions. During the set, Habo took two series of points, but we played simple and effective volleyball while Habo made many unforced errors. After a double substitution, we were able to close the set 25-17🔥.
We were not able to continue similarly in the second set. Habo reduced the number of unforced errors and managed to serve at setpoint with a 4-point margin. We scored the side-out and we're in a situation where we had nothing to lose. Thanks to hard work and some individual highlights, including a setter-dump and an ace serve🚀, we won the set with a score of 27-25.
It is always difficult to win the third set with a 2-0 lead, Habo played like they did not have anything to lose. However, the mindset was right and we made it work. Score: 25-22.

All in all, we can be happy with our performance. Everyone had court time as we were able to rotate our 4 outside hitters, use the double substitutions and use serve substitutions. This victory was a clear team effort! Habo C has the opportunity to revenge themselves and the B team again. The third of our four episode long fight between Habo and Gothia is played next Sunday, on the 17th of December in Habo!
