Ericsson championship in half marathon!

Greetings all runners!

Ericsson Stockholm IK and Ericsson IF invites you all to the 2024 EricssonMästerskapen; EriM; Ericsson championship in half maraton! The competition will take place on the 18:th of May, 2024 and it will be a part of the Göteborgsvavet race.
It is now possible to sign up for Göteborgsvarvet in Benify. If you choose to sign up outside of Benify make sure to add Ericsson IF or ESIK as the running club so we can keep track of you.

Ericsson IF Göteborg will have a tent in the starting area where they will provide drinks, refreshments and snacks. It will be a great place to talk to fellow runners and discuss tactics and results.

Also, if you participate Ericsson Göteborg will give you a free, really fast, running T-shirt! If you sign up outside Benify, please contact Thomas Kaas (he is in outlook) to decide size and pick-up point for the T-shirt.

Will ESIK members try to travel together?

The running section have not thought about organizing any "samåkning". If anyone is interested in such an arrangement, please let us know. Otherwise I recommend the "löpartåget" which can be ordered at Göteborgsvavet homepage. It is a train leaving Stockholm in the morning of the race, you will get your bib onboard and the train returns to Stockholm in the evening. https://www.goteborgsvarvet.se/goteborgsvarvet-21-km/lopartaget

I believe Björn Kassman used to collect who wanted to go by train, to book a "group travel"...

Yes, he used to do that. However, the booking should now be done via Göteborgsvarvet instead, if I understand correctly? "Observera att du som ska springa Göteborgsvarvet behöver boka Löpartåget via din anmälan/Din personliga dashboard"
