Scorekeepers and timekeeper are a very important member of the judging personnel. Although no certification is required, training is needed to become an efficient member of the team. Training materials are available on this website along with some handouts to practice.
At the present time there are no specific requirements to be a scorekeeper or timekeeper. To be a scorekeeper or timekeeper requires general knowledge of championship rules and the ability to use a calculator and stopwatch as well as follow directions from the judges.
