2025 URFC will once again organise the Shield Maidens Rugby Tournament - Scandinavia's first and only girls rugby tournament.
Date: 30-31 Aug 2025
Place: Fyrisfjädern, Uppsala, Sweden (Fyrisfjädern - Uppsala Rugby UFC – Google Maps )
Age groups: U14, U16 and U18
Age bands according to Swedish rules, running from 1 jan-31 dec.
2025 that means birth years: U14 - 11/12, U16 - 09/10, U18 - 07/08.
Format
Game time 2 x 10 min
10 a-side (5 backs, 5 forwards)
Full pitch
Group stages and play-offs.
Maximum number of players in each team is 15.
