Track bana

This track was  completed back in 2009, 7 years after the entire project started. Marcus and Fredrik von Elling usedall their experiences from racing all around the world when they came up with its final design and layout.   

The planning for thisvenue startet around year 2000 with the forming of “Lidköpings Motorsportarena AB” where LRCK isone part.

The track is 333 meters long and 4.5 meters wide. It has a rostrum for 15 persons including separate rooms for data-management and scrutineering. We have pitspace for 100 racers separated under two roofs. 
For lapcounting and racecontroll this track is equipped with three separate timing-loops for intermediate timingsas well as a camera system connected to pullstart.tv and youtube.

In 2017 the entire track was resurfacedfor a much higher grip level and also the main straight was widened to 5 meters.

During the years LRCK has hosted numerous big events such as:

• 2014 - “World Championship” 1/5 Bike nitro and electric
• 2015 - “Nordic Championship” 1/8Ic, 1/10Nt, 1/10 Touring
• 2018 - “Nordic Championship” 1/5LS, 1/8IC, 1/10NT, 1/10 Touring
• Numerous Swedish Nationals

In 2012 we as aclub was voted “Club of the year” by the Swedish Automotive Association.
