Spring 2023 - information Blue Group

KBS - Kvarnviken Regatta Blå grupp

Spring is slowly approaching and we are in the midst of planning the for the coming sailing season. Please find some dates and points of information that may be useful for you to know.

First training session Monday the 17th of April 17:00-19:15. Blue grupp will we sailing Mondays 17-19:15 and Thursdays 17:30-19:45. We will have a short meeting with all the parents during the first sailing session.

We are pleased to announce that Märta Wijkström will take the lead of this group together with well-known personalities like; Tom, Alexander and Nora. Johan will take care of the Green group on Mondays and hopefully he will arrange a Club Cup end of May - beginning of June for Green and Blue sailors. We will meet him on Mondays.

Don’t forget to test the gear/dry-suit and sizes before the season starts. 

Julia (August mum) and Mikaela (Dag and Ottos mum) will be the team leaders for Blue sailors and hope to get the great team together as well as to support the coaches.

Important dates: 

Easter Camp for Blue sailors in the region, in Oxelösund, 14-16/4. Märta will be leading this camp. 

Spring season starts 17/4 and runs to appox. 15/6. Parental meeting 18:45-19:15.

20-21 May, Regatta in Boo Lilla banan - Nacka. Day-Camp or over the night camp for Blue sailors in Stockholm. Regatta on the 21st.

6 June, Regatta in Ranängen, Lilla banan.

10-11 June, Regatta in Bosön (not for Blue sailors, but most likely we can have a clinic and learn from Stora banan and help out with the regatta) We meet one of the days and have fun at together at Bosön.

26-30 June, Day camp (training camp) Bosön Blue, Red and Black sailors.

5 August, Lilla Banan, Ekerö.

2 September, Lilla Banan, Värmdö.

17 September, Regatta in Kvarnviken KBS.

We also like to plan one activities outside the sailing sessions and hope any of the parents can join in to help out with this. Julia and August is planning to invite Blue sailors to theirs summer house in Ingarö for team-building and get together.

A schedule for ”helping parents” will be set up to make sure that all the kids get support if needed on shore.
