The Arosenius Fundfor a better future!
The Arosenius fund
In 1996 the Swedish Hemophilia Society launched the first independent fund aimed at supporting research on hemophilia. The vision of the Arosenius Fund is to improve and restore quality of life for people with hemophilia.
The launch was performed together with prominent Swedish scientist and with generous unrestricted grants from the pharmaceutical industry.
The Arosenius Fund annually announces research grants as well as travel grants to scientific congresses. The fund supports symposia (conferences and workshops) and lectures to reach the national and international research community.
The fund is named after the famous Swedish artist Ivar Arosenius who suffered from hemophilia and died at the age of 31.
