Vem är du?

My name is Malumbo Kasanda. I come from the beautiful country of Zambia. I moved to Sweden a little over a year ago for work. I have primarily played as a CDM/CM but have had some stints at CB and RB. I can play anywhere the team needs except goalkeeper. I'm a big talker, on and off the field, and love to make jokes and laugh.

I was searching through Facebook to find out if there were any teams or groups of people that were playing football during the week or on Sundays. I ended up on a Korpfotbol page where someone from Alealiber had posted about being open for players to join the team. So I reached out and joined a few of the sessions.

Din känsla av Alealiber IF?

I haven't really played with the team, but it feels like a great group. It'll be great to join up once I recover from my injury and meet everyone.

Ditt bästa fotbollsminne?

I played for a heavy underdog team against what was the best team in that league. We went toe to toe with them the whole game and drew 2-2. What makes that memory great is that I spent the game hounding two players. I used a mixture of dark arts, clever positioning and taunting. By the time I got home and emptied my pockets, I took out my keys, my phone and the two gentleman.

Mål inför 2024?

To get myself fit and injury free again. To get back playing regular football.

Luke de Jager. Originally from South Africa. I came here to study and have been living here since then for almost 4 years. 

How do you find us?

Played Sunday game a few times and decided to get more involved. 

Your feeling about Alealiber IF? It seems like a friendly bunch of people who also want to improve together and play some good football. I like !

Your best football memory?

Playing with good friends in the garden as a kid. Those were the golden days. 

Goals for 2024?

I’m looking forward to improving on my positional play

and learning how to play well with the different players at the club.
