Nu säljer vi Sveriges godaste chips från Bjäre i Torekov. Ett litet familjeföretag som vunnit många priser sedan starten 2011. Genom att köpa av oss bidrar du till klubbens ekonomi och vår ambition att stötta våra unga fäktare att utvecklas. Vi säljer fyra sorter som du kan välja fritt mellan:

Vi önskar att varje fäktare/familj köper minst 10 st påsar för 30 kr styck. Du kontaktar Stina och gör upp om antal och när du kan hämta dem. Du kan äta chipsen själv eller sälja vidare till vänner och kollegor.

It is 1 week since the Nordic championships for cadets and juniors in Örebro. How do you summarise such a record big event for us? Maybe with some numbers.

About 1 year ago we were asked to arrange the competition by Swedish Fencing and 6 months later we could secure the arena from Örebro county. The invitation was published 3 months prior to the event followed by detailed planning in the club board. The week before the event we traveled 200 km to borrow the equipment from Stockholms Fäktförbund. The day before some 30 volunteers from the club spent 4 hours building the arena. At the first day we were 30 minutes late in the start, overwhelmed by the numbers of people to register and account. At the end we closed day 1 competitons on time. The organizers spent 15 hours on site preparing, executing and cleaning. Day 2 started on time and closed 1 hour ahead of schedule. All in all we had fantastic competitive fencing from 326 fencers representing 12 countries from the Nordic Fencing Union and more. It was crowded and intense in the 10 classes with 526 entries. We had 1825 exciting bouts on our 22 pistes governed by 31 referees. Every final was live streamed and 100’s of photos was taken. The cafe served endless numbers of sandwiches, salads and cakes.

We want to thank everyone participating in making this happen. It was magical to watch the teamwork in the organization, the team spirits of the clubs/nations and the joy of the fencers making their success in Örebro.

Den 5-6 oktober är det dags för NM i fäktning, och vi i Wadköpings fäktförening står som värdar! Det här är inte bara en prestigefylld tävling utan också vår viktigaste inkomstkälla för att kunna fortsätta bedriva vår verksamhet. För att vi ska kunna genomföra tävlingen behöver vi er hjälp!

Arbetsuppgifter:

• Fredag
  • Hämta utrustning från Stockholms Fäktförbund. Denna behöver levereras till Rostahallarna innan klockan 17:00. Antal personer, 1-2 st.
  • Hämta utrustning från träningslokalen, 17:00-17:30. Antal personer, 5 st.
  • Bygg arenan, 17:30-21:00. Antal personer, 15 st.
• Lördag och söndag
  • Caféet behöver bemanning, 08:30-13:00 och 13:00-17:00. Vi ser till att det finns mat och fika till försäljning. Antal personer per pass, 2-3 st.
• Söndag
  • Rivning och plocka undan, 18:00-20:00. Antal personer, 15 st.
  • Lämna utrustning till träningslokalen, 19:00-20:00. Antal personer, 5 st.
• Söndag eller måndag
  • Lämna utrustning till Stockholms Fäktförbund. Antal personer, 1-2 st.

Ingen erfarenhet krävs, vi ser till att alla vet vad de ska göra. Alla insatser, stora som små, gör skillnad!

Kan ni tänka er att hjälpa oss med att hämta och/eller lämna utrustning till Stockholms Fäktförbund betalar vi givetvis milersättning. Har ni inte tillgång till egen släpvagn eller annan transport så tillhandahåller vi det.
