Martin Persson gjorde mål igen

After a nervous first half, Martin Persson broke the deadlock 10 minutes into the second half. Fredrik Johansson and Lucas Mårtensson added to the score to give Viby a 3-0 win.

In the first half Djurröd's battling style meant that Viby couldn't settle on the ball and we gave it away too quickly and too often. For Djurröd, Joel Isendahl dominated the middle of the park and Emil Svensson and Viktor Paulsson were solid at the back.

The second half was different. Viby started much better and we began to keep hold of the ball. The first goal was a peach of a goal. Fredrik Johansson found Martin Persson on the left-hand corner of the penalty area and Persson struck the ball cleanly curling it into the top corner of the net. Ace.

The goal settled the nerves and the game started to open up for Viby. Fredrik Johansson headed home from a Lucas Mårtensson corner and shortly after Mårtensson pounced on an defensive error and placed the ball in the net for 3-0.

This was always going to be a difficult match against a physical side that does not concede many goals. Vibys 3-0 win was the first time Djurröd have let in 3 goals in a game this season.

Defensively Viby coped well with Djurröd's long ball tactics and I don't remember Daniel Starnäs having to save a shot on goal.

Once again it was a good team effort. When the passing wasn't working, we worked hard for each other as a team until we got it right. And as usual, the substitutes coming off the bench played their part and saw that Viby got their win.
