Viby-Gualöv 3-0

Without reaching the dizzy heights of the Wednesday's match against Sönnarslöv, Viby cruised to a comfortable 3-0 win against Gualöv.

Keeper Daniel Starnäs ensured a second consecutive clean sheet (clean sheet = hålla nollan) with a fine save in the opening minutes. That was Gualöv's only real chance of the match.

After a nervous first 20 minutes Viby took the lead following good work down the wing by never-give-up Maxi Selfvén. Viby's confidence grew and we took control of the match.

When Fredrik Johansson netted shortly after half-time the match was won. Gualöv have only scored 4 goals all season and didn't look capable of breaking through Viby's solid defence. With 20 minutes remaining Oskar Nilsson grabbed his second goal in two games.

Although we struggled at times to find our rythm, we did enough. The wind was a problem in the first half and Gualöv worked hard until they ran out of steam. As the game went on, we got better.

With Isac Bondesson and Lucas Mårtensson already regulars in the first team, Oskar Nilsson, Maxi and Anton Selfvén are also producing performances that will lead to a place in the starting line-up. But it is the mixture of experience and youth that is driving Viby forward just now.
