Tyresö Royal Crowns head coach, Andreas Ehrenreich, emphasizes the importance of signing someone of Colby’s caliber at the quarterback position; “The difference between a decent and a successful season will most often come down to the level of play at the QB position. We, as a coaching staff have been extremely thorough in our evaluation and recruiting process. Finding the right person to lead our team is something that certainly takes time and we are more than comfortable with our decision in Colby. We feel that we have found a great leader, player and tremendous teammate in Colby and I can’t wait to see him compete in the Super Series this season”.
Christofer Fredlund, offensive coordinator certainly echoes HC Andreas impression of Colby and describes him as a “really sharp player with a very high football-IQ” in addition to his merits having played against teams like Oregon and Michigan State. “I feel that his collegiate accomplishments certainly speak for themselves”.

He’ll be a great asset to us with his in-depth knowledge of the game and experiences from playing at a high collegiate level. After the numerous conversations that we’ve had with Colby throughout the process, in addition to what we have learned by several references regarding Colby’s character, I’m convinced he’ll be a great addition to our team”.
Brent Vigen - Offensive Coordinator/Quarterbacks Coach- University of Wyoming Football “The main attributes that you are looking for (student of the game and leadership) are the areas Colby particularly excelled this past season. He is a man of great character and it is very easy for his teammates to respond to him”.
