Last Week

Last Saturday wasn't our day.  "Luck is what happens when opportunity meets preparation."  Orebro was very prepared for us and they had many opportunities they were able to take advantage of.  We were able to compete with them on both sides of the ball, but they had the better day and we have to move forward.

Our Offense

Our offense struggled and we were forced to punt several more times than what we would have liked.  Our success or failure is directly related to how we practice.  We we practice well, we play well.  This is going to be a running theme for the remainder of our season and if we can establish some rhythm, timing and consistency this week, we will do well versus Stockholm.  We did an excellent job exploiting their mis-alignments and mis assignments the last time we played Stockholm.  We feel that our athletes will do well versus their athletes if we play smart and look for weaknesses in their defense.

Our Defense

I thought we did well versus Orebro's physical style of play.  In the end, they mixed in some playaction passes that caught us off guard and they wore us down by the end of the day.  Stockholm likes to play physical football.  They will try to run the ball on us like they did last time, and last time they had some nice yardage on the ground.  We will have to concentrate on containing their quick quarterback.

Key To The Game

How will we bounce back from last weekend's loss?  We must be able to regain our focus and show up ready for a good battle with a good team.
