Orebro Pre Game
30 jul 2014
Last Week
We enjoyed a convincing win versus Stockholm. Our offense came out of the gate and took advantage of everything that came our way. On defense, we give up only 1 touchdown and I was happy with the fact that we put together 2 wins in-a-row.
Our Offense
We are beginning to see things take shape offensively. Making 1 great play, or having 1 great game doesn''t mean very much, we are looking for individual and team consistency over the long haul and production every weekend. We are starting to see some trends I like, and I think we will see those trends continue this weekend. Orebro has a solid defense and like always, we''ll need to be smart about where and how we attack them.
Our Defense
We will be tested with a very balanced Orebro offense, but I have been pleased with our performance over the past few weeks and the fact that we are not giving up big plays or touchdowns. We will be tested by Orebro''s very good running game and downfield receiving threats.
Keys To The Game
Orebro likes to do a lot of things with their special teams units and catch teams off-guard with trick plays. We will need to expect the unexpected and minimize the effectiveness of these types of plays. Rumor is that they have some of their best players injured and unable to play. If true, this is unfortunate because you really want to play with your best versus the other team''s best and see who come out on top. We''ll need to do what we do, regardless of what the opponent puts out in front of us.

Orebro Post Game
3 aug 2014
Yesterday was we suffered a disappointing loss to Orebro. The game started with us fumbling the opening kickoff, our defense then came on to the field and forced a fumble only to see the ball end up in the hands of their Qb who ran for a touchdown. This was pretty typical of the type of day it was.
Orebro took advantage of every opportunity, they were very well prepared, had a good gameplan and executed about as well as a team can. We didn't help ourselves, didn't play our best football and missed taking advantage of the few chances Orebro gave us.
We managed to play a little better in the 2nd half, and had some moments when it seemed like we were ready to compete for the victory. Hats off to Orebro for a very well played game. Next week we have another "Stockholm Game" and a chance to get back on a winning streak.
