Saturday the Degerfors girls welcome Lindesberg to Storavalla Hallen for our last match up with them this season.  Lindesberg has always distributed the ball well among their attackers, and have been strategic servers.  Therefore the team needs to be prepared to move quickly in our blocking, and be stable in our passing.  

The last few games we’ve been really good at reducing our own direct serving mistakes.  Something we haven’t always been good at throughout the season.  For this game in particular, we will need to put a lot more pressure on their receivers to get them out of system, and serve tougher then usual.  If we can be successful in this element, it will simplify our blocking task by having a more predictable play.  

In our past performances with Lindesberg, we have always managed to perform extremely well for one set.  However, that always seems to last only for a short time, and Lindesberg capitalizes on our lack of drive and focus.  Therefore the main goal for this game is to find a level of consistency throughout the match, and maintain it over the course of the entire game.  There aren’t many games left in this debut season in the Eliteserien, and our chances of earning some points continue to decrease each week.  The old adage “it’s now or never” is really starting to ring true, and it’s largely time that the team finally puts together all of our lessons learnt and play the way we are capable of playing.  We hope to see you all there!  “Tack” as always for your continued support.
