Wednesday we’re back on the road for another chance against Sollentuna.  It’s been a while since we last played them, and a lot of evolution has happened since then.  

Our goal going into this game will be to finally earn some points.  To achieve this goal there are only two main focuses.  Our serving and our receiving.  The last time we played them, the team collectively missed 15 serves in 4 sets!  This is an exhorbant amount.   No team can expect to be victorious with so many direct mistakes.  Sollentuna isn’t always a strong reception team, so it will be absolutely crucial to our success to keep these serving errors to an extreme minimum and force them to be in an out of system play.  

The team’s reception was the other element that gave Sollentuna the upper hand last time around.  We need to have total confidence in our passing, and simply do the job we are supposed to do.  With a strong first contact, all of our hitting options will open up, and we will have a better shot at earning those points we are setting out to achieve.  

Until then, we have one more training to get some solid touches in, and get our minds focused and prepared for the battle that will surely ensue.   We sincerely hope that after all of these months of hard work and adversity, it will finally pay off tomorrow evening.
