Degerfors receives Lindesberg on Wednesday in Stora Vallahallen for our next home game. With the recent turn of events within the team, the match will be a very difficult one to win. Lindesberg is among the stronger teams in the Elitserien, and will certainly be competing to maintain that position.
Orion is searching for a blocking solution, and will try to make this the main focus of the game. Lindesberg' tall roster will certainly need to be stopped for the team to have a chance in competing. Once again serve receive will also become one of the main focuses to try and bring a bit more stability to the game.
The girls have a tough road ahead, but achieving a win is always in our sights. We appreciate the fans support as always, and hope to see you there!

The Degerfors girls have been faced with a lot of big challenges and changes since the start of the Elitserien. The biggest thus far came in this game against Lindesberg - playing without BOTH of our setters. Yet despite this unexpected turn of events, the team came together really well and played as a real team.
Thanks to Mikaela Green who stepped up and joined last minute to help the team out of a jam, and Olivia Molin who rose to the occasion to play a position that is not hers, the team managed to hold their own against Lindesberg. With very little preparation time and training for these girls, they both did an outstanding job at taking on the setting role. Unfortunately against a team like Lindesberg, having such chaos with the loss of both setters is too hard to overcome with just one practice!
So for now, the team starts back at zero and the girls will need to work harder then ever to make up for the setters that are gone. Everyone is up for the challenge and we are always so appreciative of the fans who support us despite the negative results so far.
