Viby produced their best performance of the season to win 4-1 away against promotion rivals IK Kamp and return to the top of the table ahead of Sibbhult on goal difference.

Viby dominated the first half with a some classy possession play. The defence, led by captain Marcus Almborg, was rock solid against high-scoring Kamp who had netted 47 times in their previous 8 matches, Martin Persson bossed the midfield and up front Fredrik Johansson produced his best performance of the season.

Viby created a few early chances, but on 27 minutes it was Lucas Mårtensson who picked up a through ball from Martin Persson and rounded the keeper before rolling it in to the empty net. Six minutes later Kamp were level after a long shot from outside the box found its way into the goal. But Viby quickly resored their lead when Fredrik Johansson headed home a free-kick from Lucas Mårtensson.

Kamp came out more determined in the second half, but found it difficult to break down a hard working Viby team, and when they did finally get through keeper Daniel Starnäs was in no mood to let in a second goal. But Viby were still in control of the match and went 3-1 up from a corner that Marcus Almborg flicked in to the net. More chances came and in the dying minutes Fredrik Johansson struck again and Viby were home and dry and top of table.

This was a great performance by the whole team. We held possession well, worked hard for each other, and kept our positions. Once again we created many chances following some impressive build up play. When Kamp did finally get going, there was no way through for them. Everyone played their part and everyone deserves a huge "well done".
